  • Ombré Brows (also called microshading) is a semi-permanent brow service that creates a soft, powdered effect—lighter at the front and gradually darker at the tail for a makeup-ready look.

  • Results typically last 3-5 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. A perfecting touch-up is required at 6–8 weeks, followed by yearly annual touch-ups to maintain your best results.

  • They’re ideal for clients with sparse, uneven, or light brows, or anyone who wants waterproof, smudge-proof brows without filling them in daily.

  • Most clients describe the procedure as mild discomfort at most. A topical numbing cream is applied to keep you comfortable throughout your appointment.

  • Healing takes about 10–14 days. Brows will appear darker at first, then soften as they heal. Some flaking or scabbing is normal. Following aftercare is crucial for the best results.

  • You’ll receive detailed instructions, but in general: keep brows clean and dry, avoid sweating, makeup, and direct sun exposure during healing, and apply aftercare ointment as directed.

  • The initial appointment takes about 3 hours, including consultation, brow mapping, numbing, and the procedure itself.

  • Your 6–8 week touch-up is required to perfect the color, shape, and evenness. After that, yearly annual touch-ups are recommended.

  • No, Ombré Brows are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

  • A consultation is required before booking to determine if a color correction or cover-up is possible. Please reach out directly to Kelsee by texting a picture of your brows to 504-777-6699.
